SnagID is a snagging and site inspection app for construction, maintenance, and facility management projects. It lets you record snags and defects with photos, organise them into projects and locations, and generate professional PDF and Excel reports — all from your phone or tablet.

Yes — SnagID is built for use on site with no internet connection. You can create and update projects, locations, and snags completely offline. When you are back online, export and share your reports as needed.

SnagID is available on iPhone and iPad (iOS) and on Android phones and tablets. You can download it from the App Store or Google Play.

Features

Each snag can include photos with annotations, title, description, assignee or contractor, status, raised date, fix-by date, audio note, and comments. This gives you a complete picture of each issue and makes it easy to track what needs to be done and by whom.

Yes. You can rename labels such as "Snag", "Location", and "Assignee" to match your own terminology — for example "Defect", "Flat", "Contractor", "Observation", or "Zone". This lets SnagID adapt to any industry or workflow without extra setup.

Yes. Each snag supports an audio note so you can record a quick voice comment on site instead of typing. Audio notes are saved with the snag and available for playback at any time.

Yes — SnagID lets you duplicate an entire project, a location, or a single snag with all its details. This is especially useful for repeating layouts, similar floors, or templated site setups where you want a quick starting point.

Yes. The bulk image import feature lets you select multiple photos from your library in one go and automatically creates an individual snag for each image. This dramatically speeds up recording on busy sites.
Reports

You can generate detailed PDF and Excel reports filtered by project, location, assignee, status, and more. Reports can include client details, company information, annotated photos, and summary sheets — giving contractors and clients a clear, professional snapshot of site progress.

Yes. Once a report is generated you can share it via email, messaging apps, or any other app on your device. You can also open PDF reports in any PDF-compatible app or send them directly to an AirPrint-compatible printer.

Yes. Report Settings let you toggle individual sections on or off — including client details, photos, assignee columns, dates, and status filters. This gives you full control over every report output so you share exactly what each audience needs.
